Felling Small Trees 

A 3-day course for felling trees up to 380mm /15”.  This course carries a national certification and is a recognised qualification for professional users.  This course requires an assessment carried out independently of the training which is usually a further 1/2 day.  This course can also be delivered as a 5-day unit incorporating cross-cutting and maintenance for novice users.

Felling Large Trees

Training and assessment for felling trees over 380mm.  This course is 2-days in duration and carries a national certification.  An independent assessment is required which is a further 1/2 day.  Candidates are required to hold a qualification for felling small trees prior to attendance on this course. Windblow/Storm Damaged Trees. (Single and Multiple)

Training and assessment for the safe removal of windblown and storm damaged trees.  The initial module for single damaged stems is 2  days and the module for multiple damaged trees is a further 2 days with a final 1/2 day assessment required. Candidates must hold a medium/large trees certification to attend this course and it is recommended that  they have at least 6 months regular felling experience prior to attendance.
