Vehicle, 4x4, Trailer and ATV Training

Protec Training offers a wide range of vehicle and associated training solutions.  All out driver and vehicle training is delivered by highly qualified DVSA Approved Driving Instructors.  The courses below are our standard ones but if you have a specific requirement for driver training please ask.

4x4 Basic Operator - 1 Day

1-day course accredited by Lantra Awards and is an industry-standard qualification for those using 4x4 vehicles in the workplace.  Normally delivered at our training centre net Glasgow but can be delivered anywhere else (including overseas) where appropriate facilities are available

4x4 Advanced Operator - 2 Day

For those going further afield or working in more demanding conditions the 2-day course expands on the material covered on the basic course and introduces more demanding terrain as well as vehicle recovery.

4x4  Instructor

This is a 5 day course aimed at those intending to become in-house instructors for emergency services or other employers.  A basic operator certificate is required before attending this course.

ATV (Quad Bike).  Sit-in and Sit-astride

We have a range of 1 and 2 day courses available for operators of all terrain vehicles.  Delivered at your workplace where possible.  These courses are accredited and certified by Lantra Awards.

Trailer Handling

A 1-day course for novice and experienced trailer users which is designed to take the user to the same standards as would previously have been required by the DVSA B+E test

On-road Driver Training
