Winch Operator Training

We deliver accredited training on all types of winch equipment - from 4x4 winches and wire-ropes hoists (Tirfor type) through to massive industrial and marine units.  We also run specialist vehicle recovery training for 4x4/light truck operators.

Other types of winch equipment training we deliver include utility cable pulling winches, capstan winches and specialist equipment such as sleeving winches.

Training is normally delivered at your workplace on your own specific equipment for industrial equipment and either at our Ayrshire training centre or your own location for vehicle mounted and cable installation winches.  Courses normally  carry Lantra or NPORS certification or our own in-house certificate

Winchmaster/Winch Supervisor/Winch Instructor Training

Protec Training delivers a range of advanced courses aimed at those who need a higher level of expertise and knowledge for use in complex or critical winching situations or who are looking to become in-house trainers for organisations such as the emergency services.
